Educational Qualifications for Kerala High Court Assistant Recruitment

Candidate applying for the post of Lecturer must have Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree/Law degree, having secured minimum 50% marks as the overall score.

Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be appointed on a proposed salary of Rs.27,800/- to 59,400/-

Selection Process for Kerala High Court Assistant Jobs

Applicants who have successfully registered for above Post within the stipulated date will be assessed on the basis of Written Exam based on syllabus as per the highest qualification followed by Interview.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

 

i) Objective Test: The Objective Test with 100 questions divided into 3 sections namely:

(a) General English – 30 marks

(b) General Knowledge – 50 marks

(c)Basic Mathematics – 20 marks.

Each question carries 1 mark and  1/3 mark will be deducted, for every incorrect answer.

Time Allotted: 75 minutes

Marks Allotted: 100 Marks

ii) Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test will consist of precis, letter writing and essay writing questions. Time Allotted: 30 minutes

Marks Allotted: 40 Marks

iii) Interview: The interview will be conducted for 10 marks. The minimum marks for being included in the provisional merit list will be 35% in the interview.
