Educational Qualifications for Jamia Millia Islamia Guest Teacher, Assistant Professor Recruitment

Candidates desirous to join JMI as Assistant Professor/Guest Teacher must possess the essential qualification as follows:

1. Must have secured a First Class professional degree in Bachelors of Architecture or B.Arch + First Class M.Arch.
2. Qualified NET or any equivalent National Level Test recognized by UGC.
3. Registered with council of Architecture.

For Guest Teacher Appointment, beside the above mentioned qualifications Ph.D. in the relevant subject is mandatory with minimum 2 years of experience in Teaching/Research/Profession.

Pay Scale

Candidates selected for the post of Assistant Professor in the Architecture Department will be appointed on a monthly stipend of Rs. 60,000/-  while Guest Teachers will be paid Rs 1000/- per period accounts for a maximum of 25,000/-

Applicants who have successfully applied for Guest Teacher/Assistant Professor Post before the due date will be first short-listed on the basis of Qualifications and then be called for an Interview.

Probationary Period

Candidates appointed as Guest Teacher/Assistant Professor will serve for a year from the date of appointment which is subject to renewal as per his/her performance.
