HPU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2018 – Apply Online @ hpuniv.nic.in

The HP university recently released notification for the B.Ed. Entrance test 2018 on it’s official website, hpuniv.nic.in. Applicants intend to seek admission may fill the application forms online before the deadline i.e. 30th June 2018. The B.Ed. entrance exam facilitates admission into Department of Education, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, Government College of Teacher Education, Dharamshala and in any of the private/self-financing Colleges of Education.

For general category: Rs 900/-

For SC/ST category: Rs 450/-

IRDP category: Rs 450/-

Eligibility Criteria of HPU B.Ed. Entrance Test 2018

Age limit :

There is an upper age relief for the candidates applying for the B.Ed. Entrance Examination.

Minimum Qualification:

Eligible candidates must be a mandatorily a graduate from any field or have pursued equivalent degree from a recognized Board/University. For detailed information, go through the prospectus.

Minimum Qualification Score:

For general candidate, a minimum of 50% marks in bachelor’s degree (Medical/Non-Medical/Commerce/Arts) and/or in the Master’s Degree in the Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities/Commerce is satisfactory.

For SC/ST candidates an aggregate 45% of marks in degree examinations is acceptable.

HPU B.Ed Entrance Test Exam Pattern 2018

The question paper will consist of 150 objective type questions, each question carries one mark and there will be no negative marking for wrong answer. Duration of exam is 2 hours. The entrance exam is said to be conducted in pen paper mode only.

HP University B.Ed Admit Cards 2018 – Download  

After the application has been successfully submitted, applicants are requested to keep following the website for latest updates regarding HPU B.Ed. Entrance test. The University will avail the Admit card download facility from 7th July onwards in an online mode. Candidates can thereby download the admit cards from the official web link @ www.hpuniv.nic.in.

HPU B.Ed Course Counselling Procedure

The Himachal Pradesh University has been assigned to conduct the Counselling process post the publication of HPU B.Ed. results 2018. The counseling process are said to be commenced from the month of August. The candidates who have successfully made through the merit list will be eligible for participating in the counselling process. The final admissions will be primarily completely based on the candidate’s entrance score. Minimum score acceptable for attending counseling is 35% of marks in the  HPU B.Ed entrance Examination.
