Age limits for HPSSSB Electrical/Agriculture Junior Engineer Post
Candidates applying for the post of Junior Engineer must not exceed the upper age of 45 years and lower age limit is set to be 18 years as on 01-01-2018. For reserved category candidates & Ex-serviceman of Himachal Pradesh, upper age relaxation of 5 years is applicable.
Educational Qualifications for HPSSSB Electrical Junior Engineer Jobs

Selection Process for HPSSSB Electrical Junior Engineer Post
Candidates who have successfully registered within the stipulated time for the HPSSSB Electrical Junior Engineer post will be subjected to a Written Exam following which a provisional merit list will be prepared. Short-listed candidates will then have to appear for the Interview so as to verify documents. In case of discrepancy observed at any stage of examination, following candidature will be cancelled giving specific reasoned order.
Exam Pattern & Syllabus HPSSSB JE Civil/Electrical Jobs:
The Written Screening test will consist of 170 Objective type questions for which time allotted is 2 hours. Each question accounts for of ½ marks giving total 85 marks.
Objective type screening test will comprise various sections namely:
General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, Current Affairs, Everyday Science, Logic, Social Science, General English & General Hindi of Matric standard.

General candidates can pay the application fee of Rs 360/- via online mode.
For Reserved category candidates, application fee is Rs 120/-
