The selection process for Junior Field Engineer / Junior Field Officer posts is based on Computer Based Test only.

Field Officer posts will be based on computer based test, group discussion and personal interview.

SJVN Field Officer, Junior Field Engineer jobs Exam Syllabus and Pattern:

For the post of Field Officer:

The test will be in two parts.

Part-I will consist of 120 multiple choice questions of the relevant discipline

Part-II will consist of 30 multiple choice questions on Executive Aptitude.

For the post of Junior Field Engineer/ Officer:

 The test will be in two parts

Part-I will consist of 70 multiple choice questions of the relevant discipline

Part-II will consist of 30 multiple choice questions on General Aptitude except for Official Language where Part -I (a) & (b) shall consist of 60 questions on translation, Part-I(c) shall consist of 25 questions on Hindi Literature

Part-II shall consist of 15 questions on General Aptitude.
