HPSSSB Lab Assistant Recruitment /Exam 2020:  Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission released a recruitment notification for the post of Lab Assistant under Horticulture, Allopathy and HP state Pollution Control Board Department on contractual basis. Age limits for HPSSSB Lab Assistant Posts:

Candidates applying for the post of Lab Assistant must not exceed the upper age of 45 years and lower age limit is set to be 18 years as on 01-01-2020. For reserved category candidates & Ex-serviceman of Himachal Pradesh, pper age relaxation of 5 years is applicable.

Educational Qualifications for HPSSSB Lab Assistant Jobs

Selected candidates will be appointed on a proposed salary of Rs 5,910/- to 20,200/- + Grade Pay of Rs 2,000/-

Selection Process for HPSSSB Lab Assistant Posts:

Candidates who have successfully registered within the stipulated time for the HPSSSB Lab Assistant post will be subjected to a Written Exam following which a provisional merit list will be prepared. Short-listed candidates will then have to appear for the Interview so as to verify documents. In case of discrepancy observed at any stage of examination, following candidature will be cancelled giving specific reasoned order.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus:

The Written Screening test will consist of 170 Objective type questions for which time allotted is 2 hours. Each question accounts for of ½ marks giving total 85 marks.

Objective type screening test will comprise various sections namely:

General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, Current Affairs, Everyday Science, Logic, Social Science, General English & General Hindi of Matric standard.
