Required Qualifications
for UPSC Skipper Vacancy Recruitment 2017:

Candidate must have Government of India Mercantile Marine
Department issued Certificate of competency as second hand of fishing vessel
with three years experience of sea on board mechanized vessel.

Desirable
Qualifications:

First Aid
Certificate or Fire Fighting or Safety & Survival Certificate which is
approved Director General Shipping Approved Institutes.
